Sydney Car Signs Graphic Design Process

We were recently contacted  by Australian Photography Tours who had purchased a new Ssanyong People Mover to develop vehicle advertising designs to advertise their business. The existing magnetic signs seen below did nothing more than identify who they were and how they could be contacted. They were looking for the WOW factor.

Ken and Suzanne had a beautiful new canvas and going beyond advertising their name and number we wanted to catch people’s attention. As a Sightseeing & Photography Touring business we felt that one of their own photographs might add the Wow factor they were looking for. Ken produced a photograph which was already in use as the banner on their website. The photograph was a beautiful photo of an early morning landscape seen below.

For the back of the vehicle they chose a yellow wrap with text after trying photographs. Ken and Suzanne felt the yellow would make the vehicle more easily scene at night on country roads, the design was simple and not overdone with their services and contact details easily seen from a distance.

Initially we placed the image on the side of the vehicle  and set about making the necessary finer adjustments before finally incorporating the business name and telephone number text then signed off for printing.

The .tif files provided by Australian Photography Tours were huge at 64 Megabytes which was more than adequate to to cover the 4.7 meters long side of the vehicle with a high definition print showing superb clarity and detail.

Your business needs may be totally different. That's OK, because a well composed image of 3 Megabytes will do the job!
